I picked up a 1970 Uberti 1858 Remington clone this weekend. Kind of a spur of the moment purchase, even though I’d been eyeballing them for some time. But it was a great deal and I didn’t pass up on it.

Apparently this is the beginning of my foray into black powder shooting. Woohoo!

Also, for my Anniversary and Valentines Day, my wife gave me a Viking Helmet. That was last week, and I haven’t taken it off yet. Just kidding. But it is awesome.

Anyways, until next time – “Ver heill ok saell!” (In Old Norse, “Be healthy and happy!”)
