First rule in Democracy – Never, ever, EVER, give anything or anyone to the Communists. British PM Margaret Thatcher really screwed up when she gave Hong Kong back to China. You are giving people to evil. That is subjecting them to tyranny.

Second rule in Democracy – When someone wants freedom, when someone is willing to stand for freedom, to beg and plead for it, to risk their lives for it, then they deserve it. It’s downright chilling to watch Hong Kong protesters flying our flag, singing OUR anthem, and begging for our help to stave off the mainland Chinese Communists. This ain’t a bunch of middle easterners who hate us, our way of life, and our involvement in their politics. This is a bunch of people who’ve retained a small amount of their freedoms from Britain rule and are bound and determined to keep them and they are begging for our help.

Third rule in Democracy – The spread of globalism should always be neutered when possible. We should be building our military up in preparations of the defense for Hong Kong.  In the meantime, we should be air lifting pallets of rifles, PMags, and ammunition into that city to give the protesters (who are now being labeled ‘terrorists) a chance to not go silently into the night. Thousands of ironically named communist ‘Peoples Liberation Army‘  troops, vehicles, and equipment are already being staged!

If they invade it will be a massacre of biblical proportions.

We should be praying, arming them, and preparing to come to their defense.

Happy 4th of July! (The holiest of freedom’s holidays)

As a kid, our tradition was to go to the range today.

Because what better way to celebrate our independence day than by shooting guns?

Just like those upstart colonial farmers did when they picked up their rifles and went to work. And by ‘went to work’ I mean defeated the greatest military force in the world.

Because they were. At the time, the British owned so much real estate that the sun never set on their empire. In the previous 100 year’s they’d smoke checked the Spanish and French. They ruled the high seas. They had vast resources and funds at their disposal.

Until April 19th, 1775… when the main body of the Massachusetts militia led by Captain John Parker intercepted British troops in Lexington on the way to confiscate colonial weaponry and uttered the famous words, “Stand your ground. Don’t fire unless fired upon, but if they mean to have a war, let it begin here.”

And thus, the bloodied birth of the greatest nation to ever exist began.

And it IS the greatest nation. The entirety of the history of human civilization has been one of misery, suffering, oppression, slavery, tyranny, dictatorship. The many governed by the powerful and ruthless few . Kind of what these collectivists (communists/socialists/’ists’) want for us now.

So you wanna be a Communist in America, eh Comrade?

Then a group of selfless men banded together, with the intent on creating something that had never been tried before. The many governing themselves. A Republic.

NOT a Democracy. Any politician who says the word Democracy doesn’t deserve to be in office..

Quick lesson.

Both a Democracy and a Republic elect people to represent and protect their interests. However, in a Democracy, the majority rules. The 51 govern the 49 without constraint or cares for the 49 wishes. So, whenever a politician says we have a Democracy, what they are saying is that those with power rule those without. The minority has no rights. In a Republic, laws are made under the constraints of a constitution which protects the rights of the minority. As in, the power of the majority is limited. Certain rights are deemed ‘”inalienable” and thus cannot be touched by anyone, regardless of whom is in power.

When America was created, there were literally no words in existent for ‘ruled by the people’. The terms Democracy and Republic did not exist.

That’s how rebellious our countries founders were.

And they paid a heavy price.

Of the signers of the Declaration of Independence, they paid a steep price. But not a single one backed down.

Five were captured, tortured, and executed

Twelve had their homes ransacked and torched.

Two lost sons in battle.

Two others had their sons captured and imprisoned.

Nine fought and died.

More than a few died penniless after having spent their entire wealth/career/business helping the war efforts.

They pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor. And upheld that pledge throughout 8 years of war.

So, we owe it to our founding fathers, and the tens of thousands of subjects who rebelled, to have a great day today.

John Adam’s even says so!

“I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival. It ought to be commemorated as the day of deliverance, by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forever more.”

Today, there are two speeches worth recalling. The first, is President Thomas Whitemore, 1996. The second, is Patrick Henry’s ‘Give me Liberty’ speech, 1775. 221 years apart… both epic in their own right.

President Thomas Whitemore:

“Good morning. In less than an hour, aircraft from here will join others from around the world. And you will be launching the largest aerial battle in the history of mankind. “Mankind.” That word should have new meaning for all of us today. We can’t be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interests. Perhaps it’s fate that today is the Fourth of July, and you will once again be fighting for our freedom… Not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution… but from annihilation. We are fighting for our right to live. To exist. And should we win the day, the Fourth of July will no longer be known as an American holiday, but as the day the world declared in one voice: “We will not go quietly into the night!” We will not vanish without a fight! We’re going to live on! We’re going to survive! Today we celebrate our Independence Day!”

Patrick Henry: (This is my favorite speech of all time and I bolded the end because it’s so awesome.)

“No man thinks more highly than I do of the patriotism, as well as abilities, of the very worthy gentlemen who have just addressed the House. But different men often see the same subject in different lights; and, therefore, I hope it will not be thought disrespectful to those gentlemen if, entertaining as I do, opinions of a character very opposite to theirs, I shall speak forth my sentiments freely, and without reserve. This is no time for ceremony. The question before the House is one of awful moment to this country. California and the irrational fear of cosmetically dangerous weapons!

Ironically, this felony arrest for having an evil pistol grip and an even ‘eviler’ flash hider took place on the eve of Memorial Day. The very holiday where we take time to celebrate and reflect on the sacrifices of over 1.5 million Americans who died defending the rights and freedoms that you can be arrested for enjoying in California.

Your citizens will now sleep safe, knowing that while you’re confiscating scary weapons with non-lethal features, their children only have to worry about wading through ankle deep mounds of human feces, lines of homeless tent cities, and discarded needles to get to their plastic straw free school zones in your fine, upstanding state.

By the way, I got curious as to what CA’s Law Enforcement Code of Ethics is. It seems pretty standard, but obviously meaningless for those who are sworn to uphold it. .

You’re doing a terrible job at fulfilling your oath, but a terrific job at supporting the tyranny of your elected officials.

On the subject of my book. I’ve been contacted by a small publisher. It was rather ego-flattering, except after digging in a bit more into the books they’d published I was pretty let down.

The reviews for their books appeared good, at first. Then I noticed they were 5 star reviews from the exact same four people, and the other reviews were either sketchy, or brutal in bashing the story and editing.

So, on we go down the long path to publishing.

My current plans are to give traditional publishing a solid year in hopes of getting on somewhere good. (Looking at YOU Baen!) In the meantime, I’m going to keep writing the sequel, and outlining the next few books… as well as passing my current novel around to anyone interested. The more feedback the merrier, and I didn’t write this just to keep it all to myself.

Anyways.

Freedom ain’t free. And California will probably never be.

Transgenders should not be allowed in the Military.

The military exists to kill people and break their things. What possible benefit does allowing Transgenders to enlist, have towards our ability to wage war? Serving is not a RIGHT. It is a privilege, and it is by necessity, highly selective. There are a myriad of reasons you can’t or shouldn’t be allowed to serve. Having a mental disorder is a pretty good one.

Civilian courts ruled yesterday that we have to allow people who think their chromosomes don’t matter and have a high rate of depression, self harm, and suicide… into the military. And then they’ll have access to millions of dollars of military equipment that spreads death and destruction on our enemies.

They actually ruled against the Military, who says they don’t want them. Because a bunch of civilians in robes know SO MUCH more about the Military than those who have spent a lifetime serving and now command it.

Oh heck, let’s just admit it. The courts have become so politicized these days, that they would overturn the ‘ban’ just to thumb their noses at Trump without caring about the ramifications of their decisions. I’ll point to the Bowe Bergdhal and Kate Steine Trials as my examples of highly politicized cases and Trumps involvement.

But let’s go on…

Transgenders have a 41% rate of suicide compared to the national average of 4.6%. But sure, let’s drop them into a job where you WILL be bullied and hazed upon entry to the fraternity. It’s part of the Spirit De Corp. If you make it through basic training or boot camp and still suck, you will be hazed even more. Relentlessly. Until you leave or fix yourself.  Besides, it’s a well known fact that “Pain Retains” and “Through Pain comes Discipline”.

Even if you don’t suck, you will still be hazed. Until you ‘level up'(promoted) and get to haze others – it’s a vicious circle like that. I was never much good at it, and I liked almost all my guys.

But if you want to bring up bullying(hazing) leading to a higher rate of Suicide, you are supporting people joining a culture with a high rate of suicide already.  The Military suicide rate is twice as Civilians. And Transgenders are TEN TIMES higher than Civilians. So what does that make it? Like an 82% rate? I dunno. It’s math. But frankly, you are aiding transgender suicides by supporting this instead of supporting them getting mental health help.

Then there is the highly stressful rigors of combat and pre-deployment or just regular training and field ops or plain ole home life. It’s a life full of stress, misery, divorce, midget strippers, alcohol abuse, violence, money problems, and poor personnel decision making. It’s hard enough being a rational heterosexual male in the military as it is.

You’re gonna be bored, miserable, hot, cold, wet, and pissed off. You’re gonna argue, harass, and brawl with each other. It’s going to happen. And if you don’t buck up, you’re gonna get it even worse. Because the emotionally, physically, and mentally weak need to be weeded out.

And then there is showering. I showered with 70 other guys in Boot Camp. Then another six years with sometimes less, sometimes more. I saw a lot of wieners. You get used to it. Ironically, penis size jokes are rarely told. It’s hard to lie to someone when everyone knows what your packing.

So don’t think women acting like men, and men acting like women, will somehow go unnoticed. If you’re a transgender, you’d better get used to being naked in front of the opposite sex. But you probably want ‘safe spaces’ and private toilets and showers eh? Sadly, the military will probably be FORCED into creating these. Because why spend money on bullets and body armor when we can buy extra crap for a handful of people who feel different.

And I’m going to be straight up. Transgender Sexual Assault rates are 50% in the Civilian world. You’re going to be a woman (pretending to be a man) tossed into a group of horny, alpha males, with a high libido and love for drinking, fighting, and fornicating. I don’t believe the military has a Rape Culture, but there are plenty of dirt bags in it. The military does a good job with hammering these people into Leavensworth Prison. But they are out there.

(By the way, in the Marine Corps Boot Camp we were constantly instructed on morals and values…as well as symptoms of Pregnancy. Heh.. But they didn’t want us to be a bunch of mindless baby killers using flame throwers on huts because someone said so. They wanted us to do the right thing, all the time.)

So now we’ve a mess of issues that the military is forced to address now. And this opens the door to constant complaints like, “He hazed me because I’m a woman with a penis.” When really, you probably suck and deserve it.

But yeah, sometimes it’s gonna be because your transgender. Not saying it’s right, but it’s gonna happen.

Because people who stand out, get hazed the most.

Like Kylo Ren, I bet he got hazed to no end because of his goofy looks and giant ears. But now he’s a Marine Corps hero with a Lightsaber.

In my arguments against supporting the “Transgender Revolution”, this is the example I often use:

How is anyone looking in the mirror and thinking they are a man trapped in a woman’s body any different from someone suffering from Anorexia? They look into the mirror, and think that their 5’7″ frame at 82lbs is FAT. Both of you’re perceptions of reality is distorted, and it can be helped. But it only hurts you more when we tell you, yes – you are FAT or you are the opposite gender of what your Chromosomes say. Simply because we want to be ‘inclusive’ and ‘accepting’ and don’t like hurting people with truth that may save their lives.

Ultimately, pushing for acceptance and inclusion of Transgenders into society, instead of helping them overcome their problems, is morally and biologically wrong. But fools tend to think themselves wise so they shout us down as bigots and hate mongers and what nots.

So good job. Bravo. Thanks for weakening our military with your progressive ideology of ‘acceptance’.

If I could reach through the internet and slap you, I would.
